Section 6: Term of office of non-official members of the Council

The Himachal Pradesh Para-veterinary Council Act, 2010State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 16 of 2011

(1) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, non-official members shall hold office for a term of three years from the dateof first meeting of the Council.

(2) Notwithstanding the expiration of the term specified under subsection (1), an outgoing member shall continue in office until a new member is nominated or elected, as the case may be,and assumes office.
