Section 6: Term of office of non- official members of the Council

The Himachal Pradesh Paramedical Council Act, 2003State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 21 of 2003

(1) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, non-official members shall hold office for a term of three years from the date of first meeting of the Council.

(2) Notwithstanding the expiration of the term specified under subsection (1), an outgoing member shall continue in office until a new member is nominated or elected, as the case may be, and assumes office.
