Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Himachal Pradesh Preservation of Forests and Maintenance of Supplies of Forest Based Essential Commodities Act, 1984State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 22 of 1984

(1)This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Preservation of Forests and Maintenance of Supplies of Forest Based Essential Commodities Act, 1984.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Himachal Pradesh.

(3) It shall and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 27th day of June, 1984.
