Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Himachal Pradesh Registration of Marriages Act, 1996State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 21 of 1997

(1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Registration of Marriages Act, 1996.

(2) it extends to the whole of the Himachal Pradesh.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
