Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Himachal Pradesh (Restriction to Contest Alienation or Adoption under Custom) Act, 1976State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 27 of 1976

(1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh (Restriction to Contest Alienation or Adoption under Custom) Act, 1976.

(2) It extends to the whole of Himachal Pradesh.

(3) It shall come into force at once.
