Section 14: Powers of confirmatory authority/prescribed authority

The Himachal Pradesh Road Infrastructure Protection Act, 2002State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 20 of 2003

The confirmatory authority/prescribed authority shall, for the purpose of performing function under this Act, have the same powers as are vested in a civil court under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (5 of 1908) when trying a suit in respect of the following matters, namely:-

(a) summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person and examining him on oath;

(b) requiring the discovery and production of documents; and
