Section 33: Cognizance of offence

The HImachal Pradesh Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1969State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 1 of 1969

No court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under this Act or any rule made thereunder save on a complaint made by the employee concerned or 1 [by an officer not below the rank of Assistant Chief Inspector] appointed under this Act or by an Inspector having jurisdiction over the area in which the establishment is situated.
