Section 50: Cognizance of offences

The Himachal Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2006State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 25 of 2006

(1) No Court inferior to that of a Magistrate of the first class shall try an offence punishable under this Act.

(2) No court shall take cognizance of an offence punishable under this Act except upon a complaint made by the Registrar or any other person authorized in writing by him, by general or special order, in that behalf.
