Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Himachal Pradesh State Commission for Women Act, 1996State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 22 of 1997

(1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh State Commission for Women Act, 1996.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Himachal Pradesh.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
