Section 10: Meeting of the Board

The Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board Act, 1986State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 14 of 1986

(1) The Board shall meet at such times and places and shall observe such procedure in transacting the business at its meeting including the quorum thereat, as may be provided by bye-laws made in this behalf.

(2) The Chairman, and in his absence, the Vice-Chairman, shall preside at the meetings of the Board. In the absence of both, any member chosen by the members present in the meeting shall preside at that meeting.

(3) All questions arising in a meeting of the Board shall be decided by majority of votes of the members present and voting and, in case of equality of votes, the person presiding such meeting shall have a second or casting vote.
