Section 36: Charges recoverable in excess of fair rates

The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development and Registration Act, 2002State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 15 of 2002

(1) Notwithstanding any agreement to the contrary, no tourism unit operator or travel agent or guide or adventure sports operator, as the case may be, shall charge any amount in excess of the fair rates notified.

(2) Any sum paid by the lodger or by a customer in excess of the fair rates fixed shall be refundable to the lodger or to a customer by the tourism unit operator or the travel agent or the guide or the adventure sports operator, as the case may be, through the prescribed authority.
