If a certificate of registration issued under this Act is lost, damaged or destroyed, the prescribed authority shall, on an application made in this behalf by that person holding such certificate and on payment of the prescribed fee, issue a duplicate certificate.
1 [59. Renewal of certificate.- The registration certificate issued by the prescribed authority shall be valid for a period of two years from the date of issuance of registration certificate. The registration certificate shall be renewed by the prescribed Authority in such manner and on payment of such renewal fee as may be prescribed.]
