Section 14: Director to prepare development plans

The Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Act, 1977State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 12 of 1977

Subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder, the director shall- 1[(a) prepare an existing land use map indicating the natural hazard proneness of the area;

(b) prepare an interim development plan keeping in view the regulation for land use zoning for natural hazard prone area;

(c) prepare a development plan keeping in view the regulation for land use zoning for natural hazard prone area;]

(d) prepare a sectoral plan;

(e) carry such surveys and inspections and obtain such pertinent reports from Government departments, local authorities and

22 THE HIMACHAL PRADESH TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT, 1977 public institutions as may be necessary for the preparation of the plans;

(f) perform such duties and functions as are supplemental, incidental, and consequential to any of the foregoing functions or as may be assigned by the State Government for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act.
