(1) No act or proceedings of any authority or other body of the University shall be invalid merely by reason of the existence of any vacancy among its members or by reason of such person having taken part in the proceeding who is subsequently found not to have been entitled to do so.
(2) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, all acts and orders in good faith done and passed by the University or any of its authorities shall be final and no suit shall be instituted against or damages claimed from the University or its authority for anything done or purported to have been done in pursuance of this Act or the Statutes or the Regulations.
(3) No suit, prosecution or other proceedings shall lie against any officer or other employee of the University for any act done or purported to have been done under this Act or the Statutes or the Regulations without the previous sanction of the Board.
(4) No officer or other employee of the University shall be liable in respect of any such act in a civil or criminal proceeding if the act was done in THE HIMACHAL PRADESH UNIVERSITIES OF AGRICULTURE, HORTICULTURE 25 AND FORESTRY ACT, 1986 good faith in the course of the execution of his duties or in discharge of the functions imposed on him by or under this Act.
