Section 25: Meetings of the senate

The Himachal Pradesh University of Health Sciences Act, 2017State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 11 of 2017

(1) The meetings of the Senate shall be held at least twice year on the dates to be fixed by the Vice-Chancellor. One of such meetings shall be the annual meeting.

(2) The report on the working of the University during the previous year, together with statement of receipts and expenditure, the financial estimates and the last audit report, shall be presented for consideration of the Senate at the annual meeting of the Senate.

(3) The Vice-Chancellor may, whenever he thinks fit or upon a requisition in writing, signed by not less than one-third members of the Senate, convene a special meeting of the Senate.
