Section 83: Power to make rules

The Indian Christian Marriage Act, 1872Central Act · Act 15 of 1872

[(1) ]The State Government [may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules] in regard to the disposal of the fees mentioned in section 82, the supply of register-books, and the preparation and submission of returns of marriages solemnized under this Act.

[(2) Every rule made by the State Government under this section shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before the State Legislature.]
