Section 33: Expenses of Witness

The Industrial Disputes (Punjab) Rules, 1958State Rules of Punjab · 1947

Every person who is summoned and duly attends or otherwise appears as a witness before a Board, Court, Labour Court or Tribunal or an Arbitrator shall be entitle, to an allowance for expense according to the scale for the time being in force with respect to witness in civil courts in the State where the investigation, enquiry, adjudication or arbitration is being conducted. Such allowance shall be paid by the party by whom the witness is summoned.
