Section 45: Qualifications for voters

The Industrial Disputes (Punjab) Rules, 1958State Rules of Punjab · 1947

All workmen who are not less than 18 years of age and who have put in not less than 3 months continuous service in the establishment shall be entitled to vote in the election of the representatives of workmen.

Explanation. -- A workman who has put in a continuous service of not less than 3 months in two or more establishments belonging to the same employer shall be deemed to have satisfied the service qualifications prescribed under this rule.
