Section 30: Acquisition of land on behalf of a promoter.

The Government may if it thinks fit, subject to the provisions of this Act, on the application of any promoter desirous of obtaining any land for the purpose of constructing, executing, working or managing an aerial ropeway, acquire on his behalf such land under the provisions of [The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013(30 of 2013)], whether the said promoter is or is not a company as defined in the said Act.
