[22-A. Certain offences to be cognizable.–– Notwithstanding anything contrary in the [Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974)], an offence under section 16 or sub-section (2) of section 17 or sub-section (4) of section 18 of this Act shall be deemed to be cognizable offence within the meaning of that Code.
