Section 23: Cognizance of Offences.

The Jammu and Kashmir Bovine Breeding (Regulation of Production, Sale of Bovine Semen and Artificial Insemination Services) Act, 2018Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 51 of 2018

(1) No court shall take cognizance of any offence under the Act, except on a complaint made by the Authority or any officer authorized by it in this behalf.

(2) No Court inferior to that of a Judicial Magistrate of the First Class shall try any offence punishable under the Act.
