Section 113: Housing Co-operative Societies.

The Jammu and Kashmir Co-Operative Societies Act, 1989Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 10 of 1989

The provisions of this Chapter shall apply to Co-operative Housing Societies registered in the [Jammu and Kashmir State] before or after the commencement of this Act for the purpose hereinafter enumerated, namely :—

(i) purchase acquisition of land ;

(ii) land improvement ;

(iii) construction, re-building or repairing of houses ;

(iv) redemption of debts, incurred for any of the purposes mentioned in clauses (i) to (iii).
