Section 60: Investment of funds

The Jammu and Kashmir Co-Operative Societies Act, 1989Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 10 of 1989

A co-operative society may invest or deposit its funds

(a) in Government Saving Bank ; or

(b) in any of the securities specified in [section 20 of the Indian Trust Act, 1882 (2 of 1882)] ; or

(c) in the shares or securities of any other co-operative society ; or

(d) with any bank or [Reserve Bank regulated financial institution of its choice] ; or

(e) in any other mode permitted by the rules :

[Provided that the provisions of clause (e) shall not apply to a Cooperative Credit Structure Society.]
