Section 47: Power to delegate.

The Jammu and Kashmir Development Act, 1970Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 21 of 1970

(1) The Authority may, by notification in the [Government Gazette], direct that any power exercisable by it under this Act, except the power to make regulations, may also be exercised by [the Chairman, ViceChairman or such officer] or local authority and in such cases and subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified therein.

(2) The Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette, direct that any power exercisable by it under this Act, except the power to make rules, may also be exercised by such officer as may be mentioned therein, in such cases and subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified therein.
