Section 1: Short title and commencement.

The Jammu and Kashmir Forest (Protection) Force Act, 2001Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 6 of 2001

(1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Forest (Protection) Force Act, 2001.

(2) It shall extend to the [whole of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir].

[(3) It shall come into force on such date as may be specified by notification in the Jammu and Kashmir *Government Gazette].
