Every Lambardar and Chowkidar shall be bound to give immediate information to a Kahcharai officer of any breach of the provisions of this Act which may come to his knowledge and all Lambardars and Chowkidars shall be bound to take all reasonable measures in their power to prevent the commission of any such breach which they may know or have reasons to believe is likely to be committed.
