The University of Kashmir and the University of Jammu shall be corporate bodies known by the names of the “University of Kashmir” and the “University of Jammu”, each having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire and hold property, movable and immovable, to transfer the same, to contract and to do all other things necessary for the purpose of its constitution and may sue or be sued by its corporate name as aforesaid.
