Section 1: Title, extent and commencement.

The Jammu and Kashmir Land Revenue Act, 1996 (1939 A.d.)Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 12 of 1966

(1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Land Revenue Act, 1996.

(2) It extends to the [whole of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir] [x x x].

(3) It shall come into force on publication in the [Official Gazette] in the prescribed manner.
