Section 148: Acts done by persons suffering from certain disorders

Whoever, suffering from an infectious, contagious or loathsome disorder––

(a) makes or offer for sale any article of food or drink for human consumption or any medicine or drug ; or

(b) wilfully touches any such article, medicine or drug when exposed for the sale by other ; or

(c) takes any part in the business of washing or carrying soiled clothes, shall be punishable with a fine which shall not be less than twenty-five rupees and more than two hundred rupees
