Section 20: Finality of decision.

The Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Corporation Act, 2000Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 21 of 2000

(1) Save as otherwise provided, an order of the prescribed authority on an election petition shall be final.

(2) An election of a Councillor not called in question in accordance with the foregoing provisions shall be deemed to be a good and valid election.

(3) Any person aggrieved by the order of the prescribed authority may file an appeal before the High Court, within a period of thirty days from the date of the order and the High Court shall hear and dispose of the appeal within a period of ninety days.
