Section 71: Operation of accounts with banks

The Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Corporation Act, 2000Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 21 of 2000

Save as otherwise provided in this Act, no payment shall be made by any bank referred to in section 70 out of the Corporation Fund except on a cheque signed by both––

(a) officer incharge of the accounts ; and

(b) the Commissioner or an officer subordinate to him authorised by him in this behalf.
