Section 54: Power to make regulations.

The Jammu and Kashmir Paramedical Council Act, 2014Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 7 of 2014

(1) The Council may, with the previous approval of the Government make regulations, not inconsistent with the provisions of the Act, and the rules, for any of the following matters, namely:––

(a) the management of the property of the Council and the maintenance and audit of its account ;

(b) the manner of election of members of the Council ;

(c) the powers and duties of the President and Vice-President ;

(d) the mode of appointment of committees, the summoning and holding of meetings and the conduct of business of such committees ;

(e) the travelling and other allowances payable to the non-official members of the Council ;

(f) the manner to hear and decide appeals from the decision of the Registrar under clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 18 of the Act ;

(g) the code of ethics for regulating the professional conduct under clause (c) of sub-section (2) of section 18 of the Act ;

(h) the qualifications, the conditions of service and pay scales of the Registrar and other officers and servants under sub-section (3) of section 32 of the Act ;

(i) the manner of revision of the State Register under sub-section (1) of section 33 of the Act ; and

(j) the form of State Register under sub-section(2) of section 38 of the Act.

(2) The regulations shall be published in the [Government Gazette].

(3) The Government may, by notification in the [Government Gazette], cancel any regulation.
