Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.

The Jammu and Kashmir Preservation of Specified Trees Act, 1969Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 5 of 1969

(1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Preservation of Specified Trees Act, 1969.

(2) It shall extend to [the whole of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir].

(3) It shall come into force on the date it is published in the [Government Gazette].
