[16-B. Application of the provisions of the Act to willow trees.––Notwithstanding anything in this Act, as from the date which may be notified by the Government in the [Government Gazette], the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder, so far as they relate to regulation of export of timber, shall apply to timber of willow tree in the same manner as they apply to any timber of a specified tree.]
