Section 4: Application for permit.

The Jammu and Kashmir Preservation of Specified Trees Act, 1969Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 5 of 1969

Every person desiring to obtain a permit under section 3 shall make an application in writing to the prescribed authority, in such form and containing such information, as may be prescribed.

(2) On receipt of such application, the prescribed authority shall, subject to the provisions of sections 5 and 6 by order in writing either––

(a) grant the permit subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified in the permit ; or

(b) refuse to grant such permit.
