Section 9: Conditions to be reasonable.

The Jammu and Kashmir Preservation of Specified Trees Act, 1969Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 5 of 1969

Where the prescribed authority grants a permit for felling a specified tree or for exporting timber of a specified tree subject to any condition under the provisions of this Act, the conditions so imposed shall be such as may be reasonable having regard to the circumstances of each case and the interest of the general public.
