Section 8: Transfer of cases from one Sessions Judge to another.

The Jammu and Kashmir Prevention and Suppression of Sabotages Act, 1965.Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 22 of 1965

(1) The Government may, at any stage of the proceedings before a Session Judge, transfer the case to another Sessions Judge.

(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code, when a case is transferred under sub-section (1) the Sessions Judge to whom the case is transferred shall not be bound to resummon or rehear the witnesses or any of them.
