Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.

The Jammu and Kashmir Private Colleges (Regulation and Control) Act, 2002Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 22 of 2002

(1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Private Colleges (Regulation and Control) Act, 2002.

(2) It shall extend to the whole of [the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir].

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the [Official Gazette], appoint.
