Section 66: Petition for probate or administration to be signed and verified.

The Probate and Administration Act, 1977 (1920 A.d.)Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 29 of 1977

The petition for probate or letters of administration shall in all cases be subscribed by the petitioner and his pleader, if any, and shall be verified by the petitioner in the following manner or to the like effect :––

“I (A. B.,) the petitioner in the above petition, declare that what is stated therein is true to the best of any information and belief.”
