Section 68: Punishment for false averment in petition or declaration.

The Probate and Administration Act, 1977 (1920 A.d.)Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 29 of 1977

If any petition or declaration which is hereby required to be verified contains any averment which the person making the verification knows or believes to be false, such person shall be subject to punishment according to the provisions of the law for the time being in force for the punishment of giving or fabricating false evidence.
