Section 12: Power to grant stay of demand.

The Jammu and Kashmir Professions, Trades, Callings and Employment Tax Act, 2005Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 9 of 2005

The Assessing Authority may on an application made by the assessee stay the recovery of demand till disposal of review petition or appeal, as the case may be, subject to payment of interest under section 8 and such other conditions as he may specify.
