Section 2: Definitions.

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act, 1978Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 6 of 1978

In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,––

(1) “the Code” means the [Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974)] ;

(2) “notified” and “notification”means notified and notification respectively in the [Government Gazette].
