Section 29: Penalty for false statement.

The Jammu and Kashmir Registration of Tourist Trade Act, 1978Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 9 of 1978

If any person required to make a statement under this Act wilfully makes a false statement or suppresses a material fact with an intention to mislead the prescribed authority, he shall be liable to punishment with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months or with fine not exceeding [Rs. 5,000] or with both.
