Any person who is not [Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir] official and gives information which leads to the seizure of sapphires or rubies as defined in this Act, shall be entitled to a reward not exceeding 30 per cent, of the seized sapphire or ruby as the Minister-incharge may determine.
