Section 54: Appointment of liquidator.

The Jammu and Kashmir Self-Reliant Cooperatives Act, 1999Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 10 of 1999

Where a cooperative is to be dissolved and no liquidator is appointed by the general body [x x x x], the Registrar may,––

(a) appoint any person as a liquidator to wind up the affairs of the cooperative ; or

(b) where he/she is satisfied that the cooperative has no assets and liabilities, issue a certificate of dissolution.
