Section 1: Short title, extent, application and commencement

The Jammu and Kashmir Shops and Establishments (Licensing, Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2025Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 6 of 2025

(1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Shops and Establishments (Licensing, Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act,

2025.

(2) It shall extend to the whole of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may by notification in Official Gazette, appoint.

(4) It shall apply to all the shops and establishments in the Jammu and Kashmir.
