Section 24: Maintenance of register and records

The Jammu and Kashmir Shops and Establishments (Licensing, Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2025Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 6 of 2025

(1) Every employer shall maintain such registers and records as may be prescribed.

(2) The records may be maintained electronically or manually:

Provided that at the time of inspection by a Facilitator, a hard copy of such records if demanded, shall be submitted duly signed by the employer.
