Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.

The Jammu and Kashmir Silk (Development and Protection) Act, 1988Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 28 of 1988

(1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Silk (Development and Protection) Act, 1988.

(2) It shall extend to the [whole of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir].

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette, appoint.
