Section 3: Establishment of Board.

The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of Technical Education Act, 2002Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 4 of 2002

(1) The Government shall, by notification in the [Government Gazette], establish a Board of Technical Education with effect from such date as may be specified in the notification.

(2) The Board shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal with power to contract and do all other things necessary for the purpose of its constitution and shall, by the said name, sue and be sued.

(3) The Board shall have its headquarters at such place as may be notified by the Government in the [Government Gazette].
