Section 24: Offences to be tried summarily.

The Jammu and Kashmir State Evacuees’ (Administration of Property) Act, 2006 (1949 A. D.)Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 6 of 2006

Any Magistrate empowered to try in a summary way the offences specified in sub-section (I) of section 260 of the [Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (2 of 1974)], may, if such Magistrate thinks fit and if an application is made in this behalf by the complainant, try any offence under this Act in accordance with the provisions contained in sections 262 to 265 of the said Code.
